The Glasshouse Mountains. Legend has it that Tibrogargen and Beewah had many children. One day the ocean was rising and Tibrogargen told his son Coonowrin to help his mother to safety, but he disobeyed his father. Tibrogargen struck him on the neck when the water had subsided. Coonowrin asked for forgiveness, but his father was so ashamed of his son, that to this day, he looks out to the ocean, never to look at his son. Thus Coonowrin is also known by the name of Crookneck.
